I dream of a world built from the cooperation of many small but largely self-sufficient sustainable communities.
My mission is to contribute to and help collect the shared knowledge of how to reliably build and maintain the physical infrastructure and production systems of such communities.
Goals
Smaller units of sulf-sufficiency.
Modern technological capabilities.
Closed cycle resource use (on less than a 7-generation scale).
Research
I'm interested in the applications of accessible robotics to this goal, more specifically distributed production machines and community-scale agricultural systems.
A sub-interest is in the use of salvage computers to control these robots.
